As one of the core leaders within our team, you will become a member of the management board and will be the core driver to exponentially grow our company and continuously reinvent our existing processes, build new teams and assume leadership in a variety of projects of strategic importance. Besides being a leader for your teams you take a data-driven and experimentation driven approach to optimizations throughout the marketing and sales funnel. As our Head of Growth & Operations, you'll get the opportunity to shape the growth of our business and impact a whole multi-billion dollar industry


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building a data-driven growth department that leverages analytics to evaluate Channel, Sales and Account Management performance
  • Responsibility to scale in DACH home market and lead European expansion
  • Definition of overall marketing and growth strategy to support Schrott24's business growth objectives
  • Develop sales targets and orchestrate the different departments to hit them
  • Driving operational excellence and efficiency by defining flawless processes and relevant tools to operate at scale
  • Leading, mentoring and scaling a team of professionals from different backgrounds (Marketing, Sales, Operations, ...) to achieve quantitative and qualitative KPIs & increase distribution and market share
  • Very close collaboration with other management board members
  • Collaborate closely with product & tech teams to bring user feedback into the product and drive customer satisfaction & growth
  • Balance startup mentality of agility with need for rigor and structure


PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of a minimum of 6-8 years, of which 3+ years in a lead role
  • You have led the growth/sales/marketing team at a fast-growing (B2B) startup
  • Solid track record in international expansion
  • Experience of managing and optimizing large (marketing) budgets
  • Proven track record of managing and developing cross-functional teams (ideal: in a related industry)
  • Proven track record of providing the structure to scale and reach targets effectively in a former company
  • Worked in scrap or similar industry before is a plus

  • Well-developed business management, negotiation and stakeholder relationship building skills
  • Fluent in English and favored also in German
  • Strong execution skills and high level of assertiveness
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
